Supplements, vitamins, tonics, and home remedies were heavily consumed during the pandemic. However, there was little evidence to support their use in the prophylaxis or treatment of COVID-19. Therefore, a series of reviews and studies were conducted to determine what evidence, if any, there was to support observations and reports circulating early in the pandemic.
